37signals launches Highrise contact manager

Highrise37signals has released (silently) their contact manager, Highrise. From what I can tell, 37signals has another winner. I will be doing a more in-depth review later this week. This is the first 37signals app to support OpenID.

Some of the information to check out about Highrise includes:

If you have tried the app already, please report in on your thoughts about it. Is it the be-all, end-all for contact managers? Does 37signals now own the online contact management space? Thanks to Alex for the tip on launch.

    @Darren:
    They changed there plans now – there is now one case available in the free plan. They wrote in there email that they got many responses about the missing cases in the free plan.

    Overall I must say, Highrise is really great product. For me as a small business I can highly recommend it to anybody who needs to track contacts. The only problem that I see is, that it would be cool to bind incoming emails to a contact. But you can use the email feature to forward a contacts email to Highrise – which is a great feature.

    I as paying user of 37 signals other products I am disappointed with their pricing on this one.

    One of its more useful features does not get turned on until you get to the $49 plan. Its the cases feature.

    I urge them to change it asap!

  3. For our startup it really seems like it will solve a lot of organizational issues. We make a lot of contacts everyday so its hard to manage what’s going on with who and which one of us last left off with so and so. Now we have a central location to access all this information and to make sure we don’t lose touch with any of our contacts.
