I recruited Marshall to join SplashCast. He did just what I expected. He gave us star power. He gave the product the status it deserved. Dave R. - I wrote the original blog. We had just started developing an audience. But we knew that Marshall had the skills and talent that would take the blog to new heights. It worked. And I am super proud of how far the company has come. We have super star engineers, super star designers and super star business development folks who have helped launch super star entertainers on the Facebook platform and all across the web. We are now on our way to being a super star, super successful company.

I'll be one of the folks writing the SplashCast blog. It will be different for sure. But we have the foundation now to grow it in a way that we could not have done without Marshall's signature.

I am sure Marshall do at RWW what he has done for us. He'll elevate their status. It's an equation that works. RWW has a great product. Marshall will just make it better.

But most important, Marshall is one of my best friends. He's a great guy. I am so glad I've had the chance to work with him. I learned a ton. I wish him the best success.

Nice write-up Allen. I'm certainly stoked to have Marshall on the R/WW team now! I'm expecting some great goals from his trademark free kicks. Oh wait, that's Beckham... well whatever, it is great news for all concerned!

Spot on Allen. Having worked with Marshall while he was at SplashCast, he definitely stands out among the rest for cutting some of the fat away from what the real news is, and simplifying the resources we need to get our hands on things, be it early access, or media materials.

Looking back between Splashcast's original blog and then the new one with Marshall, is like the difference between night and day. Not saying that one was better than the other but they were written in different styles. I couldn't imagine that sites would automatically stop covering Splashcast because Marshall left, but he definitely helped give them a lot of publicity.

<p>
You do realize, had I known he was in the blogger pool, I would have offered him more linden dollars and fine, fresh NY bagels. You can't compete with that down in NZ! :-P
