Thanks for the coverage Allen.

As for revenues if this is sucessful I have a few ideas under the my hat and they are not all ad related.

If anyone wants to see what the widget looks like Allen has one on the right of this page.

Sorry I missed Pat's comment earlier on. I feel I need to address his points. Neither is better as they both are different and are aimed at doing completely different things. There is a little over lap but that is all. I am a little disappointed with the tone I.E mine is better etc I am sure there is enough room for all of us.

Ok here goes
a) Less clutter, more ad or functional space for the publisher

This might be true but the justaddme widget is meant to be seen its an advert for you on those sites. If it was not visible then people wouldn't use it.

b) It's self-maintaining, and we tend to sort by most-used

I am not to sure what you mean by this? As justaddme relies on user data out the box and this is where it differs from addtoany

c) It's all-inclusive, as you mentioned. Every single appropriate service is included.

Yes it is, but we are dealing with different types of sites. Justaddme is 3 days old and has a lot more features coming and users have already suggested lots of new sites they want adding.

I think its different because justaddme is about getting people to add you on various sites and addtoany is about content.

I have to admit I have never used addtoany and feel free to correct me.

From a layout stand point I prefer one drop-down widget like AddThis. Using one drop-down widget is preferable to many stand alone widgets because using just one widget removes some of the clutter and makes room for other things on the page. I'm not a commercial blogger (my blog is part of promotion for my consulting work), but I think that if I was a commercial blogger I would rather use the space on my front page for things, like advertising, that would are potentially more profitable than bookmarking widgets.
