The only way you are going to be able to gain traction with college students is using the new Facebook API, you can't duplicate Facebook.

Second, there is no way of ensuring people aren't uploading PSet answers, which essentially puts this tool in-line with necessary tools for cheaters. Anyhow, most professors I know give lecture notes in the first place.

First off I would like to thank Allen and all of the judges that made this competition possible. It’s a great opportunity for any startup.

As Allen had stated earlier, this project has been in the infancy stage for several weeks now. I’m proud to say that coding is nearly underway for NoteHeaven.com which we just recently acquired.

Since the launch of “The Platform” by Facebook on the 25th our focus has shifted slightly. We are currently working on the logistics that will allow NoteHeaven to play nice with this powerful new interface, with hopes of utilizing this social networking to go viral amongst the ever so fickle college audience.

We understand that there are programs of this nature already out there and that are hurdles that need to be surpassed before an application like this can gain a steady foothold. Despite the Nay-Sayers we are up for the challenge.

As far as a launch date we plan to have a beta product ready for Mid Fall Semester when students already have some fresh notes to share.

NoteHeaven - It's a God Send

Calling college students "fickle" may not be a good idea if they are in fact your target audience. Not that it matters, in the Fall your app will be too late. Undoubtedly several honest developers, probably "fickle" college students, are already creating Facebook applications that will surely "go viral" first.

This is was not my choice as the winner not even second. Look at iQmer, these guys actually put together a quality video. Did you guys watch the whole video. The things they talk about sound promising to me. Plus they are the only ones to follow the "rules".

Is it me or does this guy have a dip in his mouth?
