Blogger King Presents… How to Re-Generate Buzz for Your Startup
by Allen Stern on August 21st, 2008
There’s been a lot of talk about new.face this and beta.friend that over the past weeks. Blogger King is back with a new video on how you can easily capitalize on this technique to re-generate more buzz to your startup. It’s especially effective when your startup has lost that shiny notation in the blogosphere.

the blogger king is back!
I love the blogger king videos - how did you get the hat?
really dude?
It’s a good idea and one that probably would work, but you’d have to make sure that bloggers saw the beta web address without knowing that they were being spoon feed PR. Using their traffic logs is a good idea, but it would be a less effective strategy with the larger publishers. I think that another good way to rebuzz your company would be to “accidently” reveal info on upcoming developments. If you changed your home page for a half an hour suggesting a new feature and then quickly changed back, I bet that someone would make a screen shot and feel like they scooped the site on something. The harder you make someone work for the story, the less likely they will think its a trick.
