BlogWorldExpo – Update – Arrington/Malik No Shows
by Allen Stern on November 9th, 2007
FYI, for anyone planning to attend the BlogWorldExpo session called "Cult of Blogging" with Mike Arrington and Om Malik – neither are here. It’s been replaced by a chat with iJustine.
Leo Laporte said that Om is sick and Mike "forgot". I was really looking forward to meeting Om. Hope you get better Om!
Update 10:00PM – Mike has responded – he says, "I never agreed to attend the conference."

I learned lot’s of good stuff in that section I mean it would have been nice but there seams to be some kind of mix up. I still would like to here MR Arrington speak sometime after all the good buzz I heard from the two young kids that were representing usteam they spoke very highly and even influenced me to come to that class.
All in all it was all good up in the hood.
wtf – he should have been here – isn’t he the big blogging success story and he doesn’t show up? SHAME ON HIM.
I guess in future we should avoid inviting anyone with a last name ending in “ington” to the conference.
It’s surreal leaving a comment to someone sitting in the same room.
Arrington is pretentious.
I’m calling it fate. I don’t follow Om, but those folks should consider it a reprieve. I don’t know why he’s successful, and I don’t care that much, but the fewer people that follow his lead, the better for me.
