BowlSpace Hits the 7-10 Split for Bowlers
Powered by white-label social networking provider ONEsite, BowlSpace is a niche social network for bowlers, both professional and amateur. It’s as close to a MySpace clone as I’ve seen to-date.
The site houses nearly 14,000 profiles and 10,000 blog posts along with 25,000 photos. Blog entries range from high score posts from league bowling to asking the community "which ball is right for me" type questions.
What the site is lacking is a worldwide bowling locator along with an expert area with tips and techniques. Also, what about a Wii section with the growing popularity of Wii bowling. Could be a way to draw in non-bowlers and get them out to the alleys for some pin action. Lastly, with all of the electronic scoring devices in use today, what about a live feed of scores from across the world?
