coComment Launches Two Smart Facebook Applications
Comment tracking service coComment is launching two Facebook applications today. I called these applications smart because unlike throwing poop at a friend, these are actually useful.
The first application allows a user who is tracking their comments on various blogs to monitor the comments via Facebook. Of course the blogs must have the coComment plugin installed.
The second application is hot. It lets a blog owner publish comments on their blog to their Facebook feed. This can help drive traffic back to the blog. Distribution is a good thing and this helps increase visibility and distribution and can increase conversation.
I tried coComment on CN about six months ago but found that it wasn’t used enough to keep it on. With these new Facebook applications, it might be worth another look.

Allen,
This is great but you provide no links. How am I supposed to find the apps?
~Nick
I liked the idea of it, but it didn’t work reliably. But worst, it prevented me from commenting on some blogs. I’d submit the comment and all seemed fine, but the comment never showed up.
Yes, I isolated this to the specific CoComment plugin. I swung by their booth at BlogExpo to tell them, but they seemed overly absorbed with whatever was on the screen in front of them. So I left and uninstalled.
Sorry about that Nick - when I looked earlier, I couldn’t find anything - here is the link:

Thanks for mentioning our new Facebook applications. We are very excited about this.
