I liked the idea of it, but it didn’t work reliably. But worst, it prevented me from commenting on some blogs. I’d submit the comment and all seemed fine, but the comment never showed up.

Yes, I isolated this to the specific CoComment plugin. I swung by their booth at BlogExpo to tell them, but they seemed overly absorbed with whatever was on the screen in front of them. So I left and uninstalled.
