coComment Partners With Virgin Radio

Allen Stern - May 27th, 2008

coCommentComment tracking service coComment has announced a partnership today with U.K.-based Virgin Radio. The partnership will bring coComment’s comment tracking service to Virgin Radio’s Web site. Virgin Radio noted regarding the new relationship, "listeners to bring radio discussions online and keep these conversations alive, well after the broadcast has ended." Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Sadly coComment seems to have been lost in all of the "FriendFeedMania" currently sweeping the Valley. If coComment added social aggregation like FF has, it might be the answer for my issues with FF. coComment doesn’t steal the conversation, rather it indexes it and sends you back to the source to comment. This is the way it should be.

coComment is based in Switzerland and reports 3.5 million monthly uniques.

Yes, the partnership is provng to be succesful for both of us. Viring is now able to extend the conversation long after the radio show is over.
True we do not steal conversations nor traffic. Users remain at the original blog, while still able to comment and track conversations.
