Consumer Marketing Manager
This self-motivated, dedicated individual will serve as a marketing manager for the Active Network’s Consumer Marketing division, with a focus on the eteamz and ActiveRecruiting consumer products. The marketing manager will be responsible for developing marketing goals and strategies that contribute to the sales and visitation goals of each product, and the consumer advertising goals and broader sales / traffic goals of the division.
Primary Responsibilities to include:
• Development of a marketing plan with online and traditional marketing strategies that support customer acquisition and retention goals for each product.
• Brand management and development of communication strategies by priority audience
• Manage organic and Paid Search strategies across consumer marketing products; expand keyword inventory & optimize and test ad copy; Improve campaign performance through multivariate testing, visitor segmentation, messaging and landing page optimization
• Analyze all marketing campaign performance with HBX and other web analytics tools
• Analyze user behavior using HBX and other web analytics tools.
• Develop and implement other marketing strategies – email, online, direct, that drive product transactions, upsell and renewal
• Stays abreast of changes in the online marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly.
• The candidate will work with the director of marketing and an internal team of professionals who are focused on delivering an exceptional experience for customers, strong results for our business, in a fun, positive active-oriented work environment.
Other Requirements:
Self-motivated, team player. Extremely detail oriented and ability to juggle multiple projects. Follow through a must. Excellent oral/written communication skills. Proficiency in Google Ad Words, Google Analytics, Google Optimizer, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a must.
Requires a bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience in the e-commerce product marketing industry, preferably in a business to consumer, sports-related environment. Minimum 1-year experience paid search marketing management and Google Analytics/ Google Optimizer experiment testing. Strong familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within an e-commerce product marketing and internet field preferred.
