Content Delivery – Software Engineer

Hulu is looking for a talented Content Delivery Engineer to help us build exciting new online video advertising solutions and services.

Responsibilities:

– Drive all the content and video delivery processes for the world’s premium internet video service
– Manage and maintain relationships with multiple content delivery networks
– Own project schedules and drive deliverables to completion
– Research and analyze new video processing and video delivery technologies
– Improve content and video delivery efficiency and quality of service
– Diagnose and correct content and video delivery issues

Qualifications:

– Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline
– Good understanding of content delivery concepts, protocols, and technologies (edge caching, ESI, RTMP, HTTP)
– Self motivated with good analytical skills
– Experience working with major CDN’s (such as Akamai, Limelight) is a plus
– Experience with developing enterprise systems, services, and processes
– Familiarity with web technologies (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, ASP.NET, Flash, FMS)
– Strong written and oral communication skills
– Ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders

Education
– Bachelors degree
