Contract QA Analyst

HUGE is looking for a Contract QA Analyst to join the QA team! The QA Analyst will report directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting software errors related to major product releases as well as minor releases throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
* Identify, document, and execute test cases from requirements, user interviews, project team interviews, SME interviews, and project SDLC documentation.
* Determine and perform test setup and execution, including identifying and loading all test data.
* Create, manage, and update test performance metrics.
* Author and maintain test plans, and test conditions library.
* Create, manage and update virtual machine (VM) test environments.
* Perform client/server, white-box and black-box, positive/negative and relational database testing.
* Identify and test boundary behaviors/constraints.
* Track and report on defects of software.
* Pro-actively work with Development Services in problem analysis, reproduction, and resolution.
* Apply quality procedures and test standards to testing activities.
* Responsible for ongoing performance testing, regression testing and analysis of enhancements to firm’s web development activities.
* Perform manual and automated tests on multiple Operating Systems and platforms.
* Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager.
Required:
* 3+ years QA and/or combined programming and QA experience.
* Must be extremely Process-focused.
* Ability to develop detailed test plans/scripts, execute these tests on multiple operating systems/platforms and analyze the test results.
* Must be able to create, manage and update automated test scripts.
* Solid understanding of QA concepts to include unit testing, string testing, system testing, integration testing, performance testing, load testing, user acceptance testing and understanding of regression testing.
* Competence with developing Test Plan, Conditions, Scripts, Execution developing Test Automation.
* Automated test tool experience a must.
* Relational Database experience in SQL Server.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
