The leading internet portal for the art market artnet Worldwide is looking for a Creative Director.

The Creative Director will be in charge of the websites information architecture and visual design.

Essential Responsibilities
- Define and create site structure, interaction flows, information architecture, and conceptual models.
- Establish and maintain a style guide.
- Perform user and task analysis.
- Oversee the creation of mock-ups, prototypes, and detailed schematics to guide decision-making.
- Work closely with management and department heads to translate business strategy and goals into user interface requirements.
- Manage external design teams and in-house staff.
- Provide direction to front end developers.
- Consult on user testing efforts. Conduct, analyze and report formal and informal end-user testing, utilizing prototypes (rough drafts and sketches, paper prototypes, working prototypes).

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, production, layout, information architecture and presentation of information.
- 7+ years experience designing the user experience and developing user interfaces on web-based consumer products. Candidates must have a proven ability to create effective user interfaces for large-scale consumer internet products.
- Ability to test and iterate design solutions.
- Experience with managing in-house as well as off-site employees.
