RealNetworks - RealDVD
– realdvd lets you catalog your dvds on your computer and watch them in a library format
– it’s a cataloging tool
– selling point? watching the movies on your pc won’t use the battery as quick as watching the movie on the disc
– of course this only works with pcs that are "authorized to watch"

– learns from your behaviour and tastes
– can pick up any tv from any source
– its a smart epg - electronic programming guide
– it’s like tivo 2.0
– can pick shows based on mood
– can show the tv on the mobile
– it’s a "personal content channel"
RemoTV
– the first internet media publishing platform to be truly social
– can stream audio, video and images to any internet device
– looks like windows media player with more features
– once video is added, it’s added to their growing list of devices
– you can play a video, you can share the content with a group and/or public
– you can watch the content via the RemoTV web site
– launching a Facebook application called Mediabook - can send a "mediapoke"
– can view RemoTV cotent via a cell phone
InvisionTV
– first interactive program guide for internet video
– combines 4 key - video search engine, social networking, program guide and something else i missed
– "the ultimate guide to internet video"
– actually pretty good looking
– allows for commenting - not sure if those comments are sent back to the publisher
– you can become a "fan" of a publisher or artist - and then link out to the other sites when not embedded in InvisionTV
– there’s a facebook application
– ok, this is my favorite so far
