Good Luck to All Presenting Startups and a Tip
To all of the presenting startups including those in the demo pit, I wish you good luck and much success. Stay focused and stay away from the drama out there now. Make sure you get a good night's sleep before your presentation and eat a good breakfast. But most importantly and I will stress it again, stay away from the drama. Oh yea, have a smile on your face at all times!
Now go kick some ass - we will all be watching!
Here's my tip after checking out many of the DEMO pre-launch Web sites. Put up a simple email form with a note, "To be notified when we launch, enter your email address below". If you are presenting at DEMO, your name is already out to the public and you could be losing potential customers. If you are presenting at TC, the names will be revealed on Monday morning and if you aren't presenting until Wednesday, you too could be losing. Spend the 10 minutes to put up the form or at a minimum, add a simple email link. It's worth the time, trust me.

I also want to wish all the DEMO presenters good luck! It is such a cool event and a big day for a lot of companies. A new company I know is launching today, Doc Landing. They offer a collaboration tool for small businesses who want to organize and share documents. Check them out at www.doclanding.com.
