Become.com is building the next generation of web search technology, integrating cutting edge vertical web search capability with product comparison shopping. We are looking for a Display Ad Sales Manager.

Display Media Sales Manager
We are currently looking for an energetic and talented display media sales manager to initiate our display media program. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of display media sales, is excited about the e-commerce industry and desires to work in a fast paced start-up environment. The person will be responsible for prospecting, negotiating and closing numerous large and medium accounts and must have good prioritization skills with attention to detail. The position reports to the head of Business Development and Sales.

Responsibilities:
– Prospect new display media partners
– Effectively and enthusiastically communicate the benefits of partnering with Become.com
– Make daily outbound calls
– Negotiate and close deals Work closely with other teams in the organization

Qualifications/Experience:
– Excellent verbal and written communications skills
– 1-3 years of display media sales experience
– Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
– Good customer service and problem-solving skills
– Thrives in a goal driven environment
– Knowledgeable of the internet industry and Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
– BA/BS degree
– Start-up experience a plus
