Ensequence Grabs a Bundle of Cash and a New CEO
by Allen Stern on September 18th, 2009
John Cook is reporting that Portland-based Ensequence is moving their headquarters to NYC. Ensequence has 100 employees including former MTV-exec and newly-promoted CEO Peter Low. Mike Rogoway from the OregonLive disputes the move to NYC and notes that the sales side of the company will remain in NYC while the development operations will stay put in Portland.
The company also announced a new round of funding in the amount of $20 million. From the announcement, “Clay Mathile, CEO of CYMI Technologies and former CEO and owner of the Iams Company led the latest round.” The company has raised just shy of $100 million to-date.
Ensequence offers interactive tv services on a variety of platforms including TV, mobile, broadband and blu-ray.
