San Francisco based agency looking for a ‘digital-native’ ECD-level Creative superstar with proven management skills, a belief in the primacy of the Big Idea, and an acute understanding of the tools and techniques that can bring it to life in the digital channel.

General Job Summary

• The Creative Director spearheads creative innovation at the Agency. • Builds, manages, and provides strategic direction to the Creative Team.
• Provides senior creative leadership in business development as well as day-to-day creative representative to client.
• Works with Account Directors and Managers to strategically grow accounts.
• Works closely with the Associate CD and Art Director to direct the behavior and look-and-feel of websites, sitelettes, banner advertisements, rich html mailings, community and social media efforts, e-commerce sites, and other online interactions for our clients.
• Works with project managers to ensure successful high quality execution of projects on time and within budget.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading agency Creative efforts.
• Work directly with Business Development, Strategic and Account leadership to win and deliver award-winning work for our clients.
• Work with departmental heads to conceptualize and implement effective companywide processes.
• Provide strategic direction to Creative team. Directs conceptual development of projects.
• Works with Resource Manager to help manage workflow in Creative Department: trafficking projects to Associate CD’s, AD’s, Senior Designers, UX designers.
• Provide sales support by managing pitch creative development and leading client creative presentations.

• Initiate various managerial, administrative and HR related initiatives.
• Day to day Management of Creative Team and HR duties including compensation review, performance review, etc
• Ensure career development and continuing education of Creative Team.
• Effectively communicate with Account, Media, and Technical teams.

Education, Experience and Requirements
• Minimum 6 years Interactive Agency design experience
• Experience directing creative teams
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment
• Expertise in core design and administrative software applications.
