I am really interested in this for one my widgets. I was going to focus on myspace but this looks a better option now. You have to wonder how this will effect mySpace when people start talking about the cool widgets they have at facebook and the myspace user trys to find them for myspace and comes up blank.

We are very excited about this announcement. This is win/win/win across the board. This takes the platform and network to a whole new level. Startups like ours will jump on this as it is great from every angle you look at it. Aggregated Video channel widgets coming soon. ;)

Interesting to note that Obama is in the invited group.

I think this was an excellent development by Facebook, and I thing MySpace and other social networks will need to come up with their own version to stay in the game. I just developed a shopping cart app and am amazed at how well it integrates with the Facebook site. I was thinking of doing something with MySpace, till I learned of this platform. The other social networks need to get on the ball or be left behind.
