Web Apps Fat-Off: Day 17
Written by Allen Stern - October 18, 2006
Ok - this will be another short entry because I have been swamped with work today. I will be presenting the review of RunFatBoy on Friday of this week.
Also, I just completed my first interview for the Fat-Off. I won't ruin the surprise but will post a link on the Fat-Off page once it is live. It is so exciting that after completing so many interviews of others, I am the subject of an interview!

I read your interview on BISJ, and I wanted to rush over here to let you know about a site called SparkPeople. (That's my referral link, but don't worry, it's not an affiliate link, because the WHOLE SITE IS FREE!)
You had mentioned the ediets and weight watchers sites - I used to be a diet site junkie, to be totally honest. But ever since I found SP I've been hooked. (You can see the link on my site, and I've written a few posts about it.)
It's got EVERYTHING - meal planners, weight trackers, goal trackers, forums/message boards, personal "spark pages" for users with blogs and comments sections, photo galleries, progress tickers, you name it.
The site's, as I said, 100% free. The only publicity they get is from their users, and the occassional news story. I promote it because I love it (I assure you, I get NO MONEY for this - Please don't confuse my excitement for anything other than what it really is - PURE LOVE for SPARKPEOPLE!)
Please check it out - do a review, what have you. It's amazing... everything in the "big leaguers" and more!
I forgot - I'm really thrilled with what you're doing here, and I'm going to link to your "Fat-Off"!
