Flash Designer

Groundrush Media is a multi-media creative house that specializes in unique, highly customized work. We are a complete resource for any and all creative business needs. The services we provide include; video and audio production and editing, web design, graphic design, media buying, branding, marketing strategies etc. Groundrush Media is looking for someone with experience with animating and scripting in Flash, and optimizing animations and graphics for all types of web media, focusing on online gaming. Applicant must be proficient in Flash8 AS2, Photoshop, Illustrator, knowledge of Director is considering an added incentive.

Attention to detail and well organized files are a must along with a keen eye for cutting edge design and layout. Collaborate with talented designers and developers in all phases of the creative work, from conceptualization and design to development, testing and deployment.

Specific Skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Must possess a deep understanding of the Interactive space, Interactive design, and web standards.
• Deep knowledge of Flash animation techniques using both the time line and programmatic motion.
• Experience integrating Flash video into Flash applications
• Experience creating dynamic Flash applications that use server side technologies
• External Resource Integration (audio, video and other media)
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Willingness to do non-Flash work when necessary.
• Deep knowledge of Flash Compression techniques and file structuring practices.
• Strong problem solving skills and extreme attention to detail.
