Flash Designer/Developer Needed for Interactive Product Demonstration – February 3 Launch Date

The Opportunity: We are a SF-based Marketing Communications Company looking for a talented Flash Developer for an Interactive Flash-based Product Demonstration due to launch February 3. This piece will be approximately 30 minutes in length and will feature a demonstration of proprietary technology as well as technology-related graphic imagery conveying the movement of data. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and passionate Flash Developer who work closely with a creative team to pull this idea together. WE WOULD PREFER THAT ANY CANDIDATES BE IN OR AROUND THE SF/BAY AREA AND BE AVAILABLE FOR A FEW IN-OFFICE MEETINGS (DOWNTOWN SF), HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT MANDATORY. This will be a fixed bid project.

This project will require a very fast turnaround time so immediate availability and responsiveness is a must.

In order to be eligible for this job, you will need to provide us with the following:

* an online portfolio containing technology-related product demonstrations
* multiple examples of your Flash work big and small
* a list of references
* examples of your work process (ie. storyboards)

Additional requirements:

* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe/Macromedia Flash 8 or higher
* ActionScript: 1, 2
* Flash video: playback, encoding
* XML/external dynamic data integration
* Solid understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
* Great eye for motion and animation
* Self-motivated, creative problem-solver, ability to plan and organize, attention to detail
* Graphic design, typography and knowledge of color theory an advantage
* Ability to create original, compelling, and interactive designs that are visually appealing and easy to navigate
* Up to date with latest technologies and innovative solutions to problems
* Strong debugging and optimization abilities

Additionally, we are looking for someone who can play a role in future projects with our company. We are a dynamic and growing company and we are looking for a Flash Developer to play a key role in our innovative creative development team.

Always a plus:

* Knowledge of mobile development, RSS
* Knowledge of Adobe Flex
* Usage of HTML and Final Cut Pro
