Google Best Place To Work Two Years In a Row Says Fortune
Fortune magazine has published its list of 2008’s "100 Best Companies to Work For" and surprise, surprise Google tops the list for the second year in a row. It’s easy to see why - they take care of their employees and give them no reason to ever leave the building. From the chefs, to the back massages to the hip environment, an employee has what they need to be satisfied mentally, physically, emotionally and financially. The Fortune site has a variety of articles about working life at Google.
It’s interesting how few tech companies are listed. Other tech companies include:
-
Qualcomm
-
Rackspace
-
Intuit
In case you are interested, here is the critieria for nomination: any company that is at least seven years old with more the 1,000 U.S. employees is eligible.

not sure I’d want to be working at rackspace right now… :(
i hear ya - though techcrunch likes them - they are running a sponsor ad for them this month! so they must be doing something right over there
whats going on with rackspace? Did I miss something?
