Who knew you could already receive a free iPhone? Sign me up!
So I turned off my pop blocker last evening for a need I had, and this morning I received the following popup offer... WOW.. a free iPhone! I mean the damn thing isn't even out to people like Gizmodo and Engadget but I can get one now. Just imagine what I can sell this for on eBay. I could retire now! When will this type of crap be dealt with?
Here is the audio they play...and here are their terms (you know that the credit card offers will be high):
2. For this promotion, Apple iPhone, you must complete a total of 8 offers as follows: Page 1 - complete any 2 offers; Page 2 - complete any 2 offers; Page 3 - complete any 4 offers to get your gift. You must complete the Program exactly as indicated on each applicable page of the Site and in the applicable Program Requirements in order to complete the Program currently featured on the Site (the “Incentive Gift”). If you do not correctly, and fully, complete the number of Offers required on each page, you will not be entitled to a Gift. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Examples of Offers required by the Program Requirements of our Third Party Partners include, but are not limited to, trial offers, credit cards, free quote requests, product offers, service offers and other low-cost or commercial Offers. Typically, there are a variety of Offers presented for your selection on the applicable pages of the Site - some Offers require a purchase to be made, while others are free trials that convert to paying obligations if not canceled or free applications that do not require an initial purchase (and can be cancelled without obligation if you do not want to consent to the purchase after the free period ends).

I am not linking to their site.

Our forum actually hosts a REAL iPhone giveaway... Although unlike these guys we won't send the prize until iPhone is actually out in retail ;)

I totally understand your frustration with the free iPhone spam but please be aware that getting a free iPhone is actually possible. Not in the traditional meaning of free, but free non the less.
My site offers very good information about getting a free iPhone - so if you're interested in actually getting one for free just visit the site and have a read.
http://www.thefreeiphoneblog.com
I have gotten a free ipod and instead of the free PS3 I signed up for I got $700 cash. All you have to do is be diligent and follow through with all the terms and you will get your "free" product.
Both of those deals did requiring me spending between $10 and $20 and a lot of time.
For the iphone, Im doing two sites right now that don't cost anything:
www.freeiphone.ca
(mentioned above, all you have to do is make forum posts)
www.theiphonelottery.com
(this one you just have to register and click on ads, they are trying to make money selling ads, so it didn't cost me anything)
My buddy did one of these "free iPod" offers last year and it worked for him. He pointed me out to this free iPhone site I just signed up with.
Apple really rocked out with this new product that combines the iPod, Internet and Phone in one. I can't wait for mine.
Here's another site through which you can get a free iPhone: http://iphonepower.com
BTW this is completely legit - similar "free iPod" programs have stood the test of time and scrutiny by law enforcement and critics alike.
I actually received two Ipods and a Wii from these sites. It does work!
You have to read the system and marketing strategy behind these "Free X" deals to know how it works and why it is legit.
I've personally gotten over $5,000 in these "freebie deals" including everything from a ps3, wii, lcds, ipods, to even cash.
For those sites that mentioned you could get it, they probably meant you get an apple gift card. However, when it comes to marketing an "iphone" seems more attractive.
Some of these sites do actually work. I have gotten some free stuff. A free iPhone does sound nice.
Some of them are scams where you have to spend over the actual cost of an iPhone. Others may be legit though.
wow, if you really want a free one, The Transcendent Innovations Network Is offering the new Iphone for free! check it out: http://iphone-for-free.blogspot.com/
you'll be glad you did! :D
You can get your free iPhone from http://www.getyourfreeiphone.com. All you need to do is complete an offer and refer friends to do the same. Transcendent Innovations is a reliable company, I’ve already received my XBOX 360 from their other website.
It's pretty hilarious the number of people willing to come on this forum and push these spam sites right below a blog entry that makes fun of these scams. Ballsy. Well there's one born every minute.
I WANT A FREE IPOD PLEASE SEND ME INFO sales@silvershake.com
I "cashed" in on one of the free iPod offers a few years back when they were all the rage. Of course, a company is not going to just send you a free product like this out of the blue for no reason. But if you are focused and read all of the fine print these offers really can work.
For a student like me, I'll gladly spend a few hours signing up for certain products, evaluating, cancelling, etc if it is going to mean I get something I want without having to spend hundreds. I have just started on a free iphone offer and I should find out how easy it is to complete very soon.
Watch out for the comments above, I get them trying to spam my blog all the time.
I made a list of over 20+ companies like Google and threadless giving away free iPhones in contests, and I get SPAM almost DAILY.
Take a look:
How to Get a Free iPhone: Over 20+ Contest Sites.

If you're having trouble finding people to sign up as referrals, check out RefStop.com. Its a referral trading service that lets you get referrals from people who are looking for referrals for other free stuff sites by trading with them.
Its a heck of a lot easier than trying to convince your friends that the site is legit, just skip that step and come to where there's a whole bunch of people in the same boat as you. Everyone here is looking to do referrals to get them, and it makes it so easy to get referrals. They even let you make some money by referring people to their site.
Hope to see you there!
