Freelance Digital Designers

Artifakt Digital is looking to establish ongoing relationships with creative, freelance digital designers to collaborate with on projects. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of how to build brands online. Artifakt is a digital design studio, so candidates must have web experience and an understanding of how to appropriately design for many different technologies. If you have experience with hand-coding HTML, CSS, DHTML, AJAX, Flash or even iPhone apps, that’s extra-credit, but not required.

We’re looking for people that take great pride in creating pixel-perfect design solutions for platforms spanning corporate websites, ecommerce websites, content management systems, intranets, portals, rich-media applications, marketing micro-sites, and online advertising programs.

You’ll be responsible for creating stunning visuals that not only align with project strategy and brand positioning, but offer a streamlined user-experience, and are appropriately designed based on technology requirements.

To be considered, you must:
• Understand the value of building brands online
• Have an online portfolio – Repeat – have an ONLINE portfolio
• Be able to design a range of styles for a range platforms (corporate website, Flash sites, e-commerce, CMS, etc.)
• Provide multiple solutions to design challenges
• Take direction and constructive feedback like a champ
• Be able to work remotely with our small team (IM, email, etc.)
• Be 100% accessible during regular business hours M-F
• Have at least 2 years of agency/studio experience
• Have CS2/3 skills
• Be able to multi-task
