FreshBooks Adds Expense Billing To Invoicing Tool
FreshBooks has added the number one most requested feature today: expense billing. What’s great about the way FreshBooks has implemented the expense reporting is that it allows you to add the expenses directly to open customer invoices rather than billing separately for the expenses. There is mobile access as well which makes it even easier to keep track because as soon as the expense is charged (taxi, meal, travel), it can be added to the open invoice.
In my years as a public accountant, more clients moaned about expense reporting than almost any other part of the financial process. I am currently testing QuickBooks Simple Start versus FreshBooks and will have a comparison review in early March.
Last week we wondered if FreshBooks pushed Intuit to offer Quickbooks for free. Also check out FreshBooks upcoming RV marketing tour beginning this week in Miami.
