I prefer socialthing or lifestream.fm for some reason. Maybe it is design? I am not sure. The last thing I need right now is another desktop app taking up space. Between thwirl, pownce and my IM clients, my desktop is about as cluttered as I can possibly make it. Soon there will be no room for apps! Wish that Windows had something like Growl.
