Google Adds Hallmark Channel to Google TV Ads Lineup
Google has announced a new addition to their television sales lineup today. Hallmark Channel, which the company notes is "seen" in 86 million homes across the U.S., will be available to users of the Google TV Ads platform. The relationship will officially begin in 2009.
Bill Abbott, Executive Vice President, Ad Sales, Hallmark Channel said regarding the partnership, “The Google TV Ads platform will allow more advertisers to access the network’s acclaimed roster of family-friendly programming – entertainment that audiences cherish during the holidays.”
Other networks in the Google TV Ads platform include Sci Fi, Oxygen, MSNBC, CNBC and Bloomberg Television. Here’s a video from a discussion in NYC earlier this year discussing the Google TV Ads platform — first up is Time Castelli, Google NY Sales Director and following him is Long Ellis, Google Head of TV Sales division.
