I Feel NYC – Mood-Based Location Finder
I Feel NYC launched earlier this year and offers a pretty nifty concept. The idea is to match your current or desired mood to a variety of locations in NYC. The mood options include: naughty, hungover, energetic, romantic, sophisticated, chill, girly, manly, and broke.
The site is in a closed beta period but you can request access. Account access allows you to add new locations to the different mood options listed above along with the ability to comment on current locations. I am hoping that more locations will be added in different parts of city – currently the map is pretty heavy on midtown Manhattan.
Assuming that enough locations are added, I assume they could sell spots on the map as paid sponsors for each mood.
There’s also an I Feel London and an I Feel Toronto with similar mood options. I am hoping they add a "transit" mood sometime soon.
