Meeting Management Tool ikordo Closes Shop
A bit of bad news coming out today. Meeting management tool ikordo has closed up shop. The message on their site reads, "We regret to inform you that the ikordo service has been withdrawn indefinitely. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody that used the service. Please direct all enquiries to info@ikordo.com"
I reviewed the service back in July and thought it had good potential. It humanized meeting planning and it’s disappointing to see it go. I chatted several times with VP George Waidell and was impressed with his vision for the product.
Mike Butcher notes, "although lots of people have difficulty arranging meetings, especially between three or more people, most web apps tend to be beaten by people just picking up the phone. Getting adoption for a new service outside the enterprise is probably pretty damn hard."

MyCommittee.com doesn’t focus so much on planning the meeting date and time but more on the meeting contents. (agendas and minutes)
It’s usefull when you have recurring meetings with the same people (committees, management, etc.)
