Interactive Designer/Developer

We develop experiences that grow virally within the Social Web. Our founders are internet veterans, and we’ve got a culture that rewards innovation and imagination (and discourages corporate speak). We’re funded and located in lower Manhattan.

We are looking for a sharp, enthusiastic person to join us as an Interactive Designer/Developer.

The ideal candidate would see himself/herself this way:

You know HTML like it’s second nature. You understand DOM and keep your formatting in CSS.

You have experience creating AJAX-enabled sites, and are familiar with frameworks like ExtJs, Script.aculo.us, and Yahoo UI Library.

Clean, intuitive interfaces mean a lot to you. You’re picky about fonts, colors and pixels, but really insane about ‘useability.’

You don’t consider yourself a programmer, but you may know some Flash and Javascript. Nor do you consider yourself a graphic artist, but you can push some pixels in Photoshop and Illustrator.

You are interested and passionate about IA.

Also: You have at least 5 years of related experience You’re comfortable working in a startup environment. You ask questions, and play nice with others on projects. You’re an active user of at least one major social network (Facebook, MySpace, etc.) and are always looking at new stuff You’re allergic to cubicles
