Interactive Developer

FOX News Digital is seeking an ambitious and innovative Interactive Developer for its Product Development team. As an Interactive Developer, you will work closely with the design group to execute user interface elements, graphics, animation, demos and tutorials supporting the visual, branding, navigational and stylistic needs of Web sites and Web applications.

You should be fearless in your approach to new technologies and open to new, exciting ways of building web applications. You will use your creativity, skills, and development experience to bring the most thorough and engaging product possible to the end-user.

Requirements include:

* 3+ years of experience as a developer of interactive projects
* Knowledge of Flash, Flash Video and ActionScript 3.0
* Familiarity with object oriented programming
* Fluency in XHTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS and Web 2.0 technologies
* Passion for new technologies and a drive to find better ways of producing interactive web content
* Excellent attention to detail

Experience with the following a plus:

* Experience using SVN or other version control systems
* Comfort with PHP, or a similar server-side web technology
* Exposure to working with a content delivery network (CDN)
