Interactive Sales Manager

PalmBeachPost.com – Palm Beach County, Florida’s local Web site for news and information — has an exciting challenge for a dynamic leader to lead the strategic direction and goal achievement of the Online Advertising Department. The Interactive Sales Manager will be responsible for generating online advertising sales in Retail, Classified, Majors and National directly and through the sales staffs; managing the activities of a highly skilled online sales team and leading the evolution of our advertising solutions. The Manager is also responsible for the development of online budgets and the development of a sound sales and support infrastructure as well as a portfolio of electronic products and services. The Interactive Sales Manager will work closely with our Marketing and Research staffs to develop sales presentations and online marketing materials for use in the sales activity; and will provide online product and sales training to The Post advertising staff. · College degree or significant work experience · 3 years’ experience in Advertising Management · 3+ years in media sales required · Well-developed verbal skills · PC or Mac proficiency with well-developed word processing, PowerPoint, Excel and spread sheets · Honed proficiency with Internet browsers and basic HTML and FTP · Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred · Valid Driver’s license and insurance.
