Dude - I think you are getting way ahead of yourself here. Apple moves very deliberately. Would you agree that the SDK is a tremendous step forward vs. the web 2.0 approach originally pushed? Do you really believe Apple isn't already thinking along the same lines as you are with respect to the kinds of paradigm shifting functionality that can be brought to mobile platforms, including the iPhone? This device has been on the market only 9 months. It's already revolutionized the mobile device experience for users, the carrier/handset relationship, and soon will have cultivated an entire ecosystem of programmers, applications, even entire businesses dedicated to making it a better platform.

Give it a little time. I'm personally happy to see things moving at a slower, deliberate pace. Your personal desires are not at the top of Apple's priority list, nor mine as a share holder (and iPhone owner/lover). But I'm truly excited to see where we will be in the near future because of the ideas folks like you have. I suspect your biggest issue right now is that Apple is going to bring to market the things you are looking to do now before you get a chance to do them. Oh well, there's alway Andriod...
