I actually check it a couple of times a day..Will I still be interested in a couple of weeks or months? I don't know.

But I do give Justin a heck of a lot of credit for acting on an idea that most people would discard as ridiculous.

I agree. I don't know if it would work for anyone else but him. But its a great idea nonetheless.

So let me get this straight... nobody will care in a few months, but you think there should be an archive?

It would be nice to have an archive so that if you're tuning in live while something interesting happens you can go back to it and show your friends later. But it'd be a pain in the behind for someone to have to sit around and label the archive to make it searchable.

I think this is a little different than the million dollar in that you have more range for the dynamic content. In essence, from a production point of view, justin.tv seems like a lonelygirl15 with a different visual perspective, so if someone else were to take the same presentation style and be an entertaining character on their own right (or if they were to put themselves in entertaining situations), I could see people watching it.

Really bad article. Not like anyone hasn't thought these things...by themselves...already.
Good try. Nice Viddler name-drop.

I think many times we have all thought of something that a person writes about, but it provides another viewpoint perhaps. As for Viddler, who else does the timed tagging/commenting?

I was thinking to myself that the initial buzz for Justin.TV would fade out, but it's his business model that makes it so interesting. We can watch how a startup gets on its legs, as it's happening.

Once he sets other people up as "lifecasters", it will still be interesting to watch his feed because he was the first one to do it.

If you had a video camera strapped to your head Allen, I'd probably watch it.

If he's streaming 24/7 using a Sprint wireless card, they'll cut him off at some point soon. The place I work, we're going to buy a lot of the same cards Justin uses, and one of the questions we asked the account manager when they came out was, "do you have the same bandwidth limitations as Verizon." Short answer no, long answer yes. If they see you consistently streaming for periods of time, say five days in a row of non-stop usage of video streaming to the Sprint card, they'll cut it off. So maybe we'll see him cutoff soon.
