Is something up with the new Technorati? It’s broke and down…

Ok, did the damn cat from Twitter get into the new Technorati? for the past hour or so, it hasn't been functioning properly nor loading half of the time. I am sure they are getting pounded from the launch buzz which is understandable, but why is the old search page back?

Also, is it really scheduled maintenance? If so, why wouldn't Dave tell us in his post that it would be down and more importantly, why would they do this during high-SiliconValley-surfing time? Maybe they did get bought out by Ask :)

Update: Arrington has a screenshot from their bug. Looks like there is no cat visible.
