Jobs in Pods Lets You Listen To Jobs While on the Go
Jobs in Pods is a new service that lets you listen to job openings while on the go. In addition to the job openings, Jobs in Pods interviews the listed companies. The blog offers insight into companies moving job information into social media (along with pushing their services).
Each podcast is between 7-10 minutes and you can subscribe to the podcasts using iTunes and a variety of other podcast services. There are subscription options by category and country. What would be nice is to allow me to select multiple categories and create a custom feed.
The business model is simple: Jobs in Pods charges the companies ($329) to create the podcast and then listening to the podcasts is free. What concerns me is whether Jobs in Pods can create enough podcasts each week to keep consumer interest.

We’re actually not marketing the site as a ‘destination’ yet. Rather we are focusing on getting employers to add them to their current career site via our widget or by linking to them from other job postings. Its meant to be more of a compliment to a job board, not a replacement. Over time the site will gain more traction and eventually could be a solid job board by itself.
