CNET Download – Partner Manager

Job Description:
The Partner Manager will support the software publisher partner programs on CNET Download.

Core Responsibilities:

Manage the high-profile programs that drive traffic and revenue for CNET Download
Monitor program and campaign performance; report regularly to upper management. Make data-driven decisions to optimize page views, unique visitors, conversion rates and other important program metrics.
Deliver established reports regularly to partners
Exceptional attention to detail and customer service.
Establish marketing communications campaigns targeted at software publishers.
Act as point of contact for important publisher accounts including: daily account interaction, developing and implementing optimization strategies, reporting, handling resolution of business and technical issues, tracking of key metrics to identify trends and highlight issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

Three years of experience in online marketing, account management, and/or marketing communications.
Success in developing and implementing programs and the ability to take full responsibility for those programs (from beginning to end) as well as project management experience and ability to handle and effectively prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects.
Excellent track record of developing and retaining mutually beneficial customer relationships.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with technology and its application to marketing programs. Familiarity with identifying and framing technical issues. High level of comfort escalating and presenting key partner issues to management when appropriate.
Strong partnership development, negotiation, and management skills, as well as experience in developing influential strategic partnerships and co-marketing strategies and a history of revenue building successes.
Leadership, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire and motivate others to accomplish their goals. This includes cross-functional teams and effective communications with all levels externally and internally within CNET
Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment.
Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint (and other MS Office apps) and ability to quickly learn in-house proprietary reporting and production tools.
