Egami Media is the rapidly growing digital content subsidiary of Image Entertainment. Egami is looking for a Digital Content Manager who will be responsible for the inbound (collecting, assembling, editing, formatting, naming, storing) and outbound delivery of assets in the form of metadata, graphics and audio and video media files to retailers like iTunes, Rhapsody, Netflix and Amazon for sale and rental on their digital distribution platforms. The position reports to the Director of Digital Operations and will work closely with other team members as well as key members of other departments. This position is an integral part of the flow of content into and out of Egami Media.

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and enter all required metadata for all audio and video programs into corporate database
• Manage changes to release dates, pricing, titles and any other variable data up to and beyond release date
• Coordinate delivery of all required assets to retailers on a timely, accurate and efficient basis
• Edit existing data to conform to various retailer delivery requirements (Retailer Setups)
• Utilize for delivery those retailer provided applications
• Cross check and assure complete and accurate digital asset delivery
• Communicate to management the status of all inbound and outbound program assets via priority email and routine weekly reporting
• Address any digital asset discrepancies and provide timely accurate follow-up to retail clients
• Manage tracking database with delivery status for all programs across all retailers

Skills/ Qualifications:

• 2-3 years in digital distribution and content management preferred but not required
• Very strong, accurate and efficient data entry skills
• Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills, especially with managing high volume of data
• Strong attention to detail, good client skills, ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly
• Understanding of current digital media encoding formats (WMV, FLV, AAC, WMA) a plus
• Understanding of current retail delivery models (EST, Streaming, VOD, Ad sponsored) a plus
• Comfortable on both Mac and PC platforms
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar graphics program a plus
• Knowledge of FTP protocols, web browsers and common web application interfaces
• Familiar with audio and video retail environment
• Broad knowledge of film, video and music a plus
• Knowledge of music and movie genres and sub genres
