matchmine is developing a personalized media discovery platform. It’s like having a best friend whose full time gig is to send you great stuff.

We’re looking for a proven professional hunter with a passion for shaping the way consumers find the music, video, movies and blogs they want online, and in the process, revolutionizing the online media discovery industry. Working closely with the VP of Business Development, will research, prospect, and close multiple partners. Will build a pipeline of media-centric properties such as video and music sites, social networking , aggregators, and digital publishers.

Will refine and execute the company’s partnering strategy, including helping to shape the value proposition necessary to secure those partnerships; Seek out and negotiate strategic partnerships with established organizations. Lead in aspects of deal development – prospecting, contact, exploration, negotiation and closing; personally contribute to the visibility and positive perception of matchmine in the industry, ensuring that matchmine is top of mind with potential business and strategic partners.

Ideally, you are a lover of media—music, movies, blogs, etc. Additionally, we’re seeking your Bachelors and 7-10 years of sales experience in the new media industry with experience negotiating online distribution deals. Strong understanding of the Internet media business and associated business models is essential. Strong connections in the online media, advertising, or media discovery industries a must.
