Executive Producer, Products
Collaborating with stakeholders throughout PC World and Macworld, the Executive Producer, Products, will play a key role as these two award-winning brands and related sites take their tools for helping consumers and business people research, buy, and use technology products to the next level. S/he will manage the creation of new site functionality including editorial, community, and vendor content; ensure that in-house publishing tools and processes are optimized for rapid, Web-first publishing; help determine product-coverage strategy for existing and new sites, then implement those strategies by producing high-quality content; and oversee one of the media world's leading technology product-testing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in editorial or other content-related responsibilities at a rich-content, database-driven Web site. Top-notch project management and analytical thinking skills are essential, as is familiarity with Web technologies and trends. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of consumer technology products; experience in creating product reviews and/or community content are major pluses.
