Interactive Designer

Our team is looking for short and long-term contract positions, or full-time staff members. Please only apply if you have at least 3 – 5 years of work experience and a portfolio site in which to review work.

The Basics:

* Effectively work in a team environment and communicate your ideas in a clear and concise manner.
* Collaborate with fellow designers and project team to maintain consistent designs that align with client expectations and project initiatives.
* Create powerful and integrated experiences taking into consideration content, navigation structure, usability issues and visual hierarchy.
* Work under tight time constraints and within established deadlines

The Skills:

* Generate multiple and distinct compositions as outlined in creative briefs.
* Apply your knowledge of color theory, typography, motion graphics, illustration, branding, storytelling and iconography on a broad range of projects.
* Design compelling visual executions using Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
* Knowledge of After Effects and 3D software a plus.
* Working knowledge of CSS, XHTML, or PHP also a plus.

The Background:

* Design related degree and/or equivalent work experience.
* At least three (3) years experience in a design firm, agency or studio.
* A tight portfolio displaying creative flair demonstrating experience with interactive and multimedia work.
