As the Bug Labs latest and greatest Java Developer, you will be (among other things) developing OSGi bundles, embedded Java, and Eclipse plugins. It goes without saying, you are a competent, detail-oriented, go getter who dances between independence, initiative, and collaboration. You have unyielding energy, you are open minded, and prioritize rewarding work with a fun team.

Major Responsibilities:
* Create and write applications in Java (embedded Java Development)
* Create test cases based on functional specifications and/or use cases provided by development
* Developing OSGi bundles
* Developing Eclipse plugins
* Supplementing implementation with JUnit testcases
* Maintain javadoc and contribute to high level user documentation (public wiki How Tos)

Minimum Requirements:
* Experience and/or desire with test driven development
* Experience with Linux and Mac systems
* Experience working with Eclipse
* Proficiency in Java 1.4
* Interest in embedded systems
* Ability to multi-task and remain organized
* Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly in discussing technical issues clearly and succinctly
* Able to provide sample test plans and test cases
* Preferred candidate will have contributed to Open Source java projects (OSGi), and/or Mobile Applications development
* Self starter that works well with others (experience working with a start up preferred)
* Exposure to a wide set of technologies and methodologies

What else we'd like to see:
Open Source development environment using:
* Linux (any distribution)
* CVS and SVN or other concurrent versioning system

Specific Java technologies:
* J2ME (Java Platform, Micro Edition, PhoneME Advanced)
* Connected Device Configuration (CDC); JSR 36, JSR 218
* AWT for target GUI development
Target Architecture: ARM (Freescale MX31), Target OS: Linux 2.6 kernel
