Lime Medical’s revolutionary MedNotes product is now ready to be brought to market and we are currently seeking a technology leader who will help bring the company and MedNotes product to the next level as we enter the commercialization stage. This is an extraordinary opportunity for someone who excels in early stage environments to propel a dynamic company towards profitability. Specific responsibilities include:

Candidates must have a history of team leadership experience within the Medical Technology field including experience working closely with software developers, doctors and health care institutions. Specific criteria include:

* Lead and build technology team
* Schedule and monitor project deadlines
* Prioritize new features and bug fixes
* Monitor developer progress
* Promote awareness of goals to team and management
* Assist in product prototyping
* Daily update and reconciliation of bug/feature tickets
* Ensure medical integrity of product through QA sessions with coordinated clinical content personnel.
* Coordinate all aspects of release and notification of program changes to CEO and program users.

Minimum Requirements:

* Russian Language fluency preferred (to work with development team in Russia)
* Object-orientated programming background a must with strong understanding of design patterns and where to apply them
* Strong Computer Science fundamentals with a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering related discipline strongly preferred
* Strong server-side development experience, PHP preferred in a LAMP environment.
* Strong database fundamentals (MySQL preferred)
* You understand versioning systems such as SVN and build processes.
* Client-side development experience with JavaScript DOM and Ajax.
* Experience with frameworks such as Prototype, Scriptaculous, ExtJS and jQuery are a plus.
* You understand JavaScript closures and prototype based inheritance. You understandXML/XmlHttpRequest in depth.
* You're passionate about technology and want to change the way the world approaches web based applications.

Ideal Candidate:

* You have experience developing Electronic Medical/Health Records. (EMR/EHRs) or a similar medical software background.
* You have experience building innovative, ground breaking software
* You are on the level of writing frameworks such as Prototype, jQuery and ExtJS.
* You can write Apache modules.
* You are capable of extending and optimizing PHP internals.
* User experience design, graphic design is an additional plus.

The position will require some travel including quarterly trips to California to meet with the CEO, biannual trips to Russia to meet with the developers and variable travel to promote the product.
