We are currently looking for a Manager of Operations for the Direct to Consumer (D2C) division under Digital Distribution.

The D2C group’s objective is to develop a meaningful business distributing WB products and services across all formats directly to consumers (i.e, a retail operation). Products include both physical and digital forms of film, TV, video games, and music. The distribution platform will accommodate a variety of business models including traditional transactional ecommerce, rental (VOD), subscriptions and ad supported models. Digital content will be available on a variety of devices including mobile phones, PC’s and consumer electronics devices.

WARNER BROS. DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION was founded in October 2005 to manage the worldwide electronic distribution streams of the Studio's product over existing, new and emerging digital platforms, including pay-per-view, electronic sell-through, video-on-demand, subscription-video-on-demand, wireless and more. WBDD also oversees the Studio's worldwide digital strategy, partnerships in digital services and emerging new clients and business activities in the digital space. WBDD is charged with managing the Studio's retail and consumer transition of product produced by Warner Home Video and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment from a purely packaged distribution scheme to one that supports both packaged and digital distribution, as well as both standard and high definition formats.

Responsibilities

Recommend, develop and implement processes to manage all aspects of supply chain DTC business model (DVD, Digital, MOD, Games, Mobile) including cost optimization and delivery of product to meet business requirements.
Manage transition and integration from legacy vendor to new platform and fulfillment partners.
Apply business knowledge of process and technology to create models and reports for the purpose of analyzing and reporting on all costs and transactions associated with the operations process including distribution, inventory, freight, frequency of orders, reorder rates, fill rates, quality etc… Perform forecasting, post mortem and planning analysis.
Work with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams to ensure compliance with best practices and optimized customer experience.
Monitor and report on KPIs and metrics of supply chain vendors and internal partners. On-going analysis of data to provide management with reports to assist in planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, systems, supply chain management, transportation and distribution.
Prepare and analyze RFP requests where applicable.
Assist with Master Data and Support for component evaluation of exclusive products.
To ensure the flow of digital products.
Work with the Order Management group in troubleshooting orders.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.
5+ years experience in a web based retail shipping and fulfillment environment/ E-commerce and or/ catalog D2C fulfillment supply chain.
3 years or more of a proven track record of performance with increasing responsibility.
Experience with SAP/ERP highly preferred.
Experience leading a cross-functional team to meet business objectives of new business start-up. Digital Supply Chain experience (preferred).
Knowledge of the Home Entertainment industry.
Knowledge of eCommerce or Direct-to-Consumer practices.
Excellent communication, follow-through and organizational skills as a key team player.
Able to work independently. Project management to ensure completion of assigned tasks.
Proven ability to multi-task.
