The Online Business Development Director will report to the VP of Corporate Development and will be responsible for developing and executing our online, portal, community and ISP strategies. In addition to being high energy the ideal candidate will have a profound understanding and demonstrable successes in a consumer internet business development environment. The ability to manage many partnerships, a strong knack for marketing and familiarity with contracts are essential.

We are looking for self-starters who can work in a rapidly changing industry, tolerate ambiguity, demonstrate problem-solving skills and are comfortable with limited oversight. Experience in a technology-driven industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

* Create and manage business development and sales relationships with online partners
* Create business development offers and execute through to launch
* Rally partners around product proposals to post-execution user acquisition targets
* Take partnerships that have been negotiated and increase user acquisition and engagement
* Assist marketing and product development in go to market activities for partnerships
* Provide feedback to product development on requirements

Requirements:

* Ability to source, negotiate, and close business relationships with large and complex partners
* At least 5 years of sales, marketing and business development experience
* Knowledge and experience with consumer internet in BD role
* Hard-working, entrepreneurial spirit, understanding of startups
* Graduate degree from a leading business school, CS or engineering program
* Passionate about start ups and movies
* Sense of humor.
