Online Marketing Manager

BedandBreakfast.com is seeking an experienced online marketer to oversee our online marketing efforts. BedandBreakfast.com has become the leading specialty lodging website over the past few years and now we are looking at taking it to the next level. We are looking for an experienced online marketing person who can dramatically build our website traffic, our opt-in email databases, and boost the number of consumer reviews of our member properties. The Online Marketing Manager will own acquisition and retention marketing efforts designed to:

* Maximize web site traffic, online reservations, gift card sales, and consumer reviews
* Manage paid and natural search engine optimization, including natural SEO, PPC optimization, and link-building
* Manage and build the online reservations and gift card affiliate programs
* Build our email database of opt-in consumers for our special offers and newsletters
* Find new avenues to promote our website through Internet 2.0 channels
* Work with our offline marketing and PR groups to coordinating activities designed to boost site traffic
* Determine best avenues for online advertising programs, track and measure effectiveness
* Assist in managing and merchandising the company website in order to facilitate better consumer conversion

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a manager level person who feels like they have the experience to step-up and take control of the online marketing activities for a tier-A travel website. This person will be a self-starter who can not only come up with the right strategies, but who doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves and implementing them. Qualifications include:

* Four years experience in online marketing, promotion, e-mail list building, affiliate programs
* Extensive experience in natural SEO and PPC optimization
* Online travel background a plus, but not necessary
* Bachelor's degree required, preference given to analytical-based education
* Not afraid to have a lot of responsibility, and work for a unique company in a niche market
