Online Product Development Manager

The Product Development Manager will interface with eMedia’s technical, production and business constituents to streamline the development of new products during the build process and to facilitate the ongoing optimization and financial success of products throughout their life cycle.

Reports to the Director of Product Development.

Work closely with members of eMedia to develop and implement new product and application models.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and detail market-specific needs/requirements and ensure the financial viability of new product ideas.
Research and analyze current trends in online audience habits and online market environments to establish measurable benchmarks for new product launches.
Work with multiple departments including Tech, Production, Design and Project Management to ensure products are developed in accordance with established business requirements and best practices.
Manage partner/vendor relationships and vet new potential solutions/platforms.
Create clear and concise roadmaps for products from planning through implementation and launch.

Requirermrnts:

Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and building P&Ls.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and HTML.
Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 3 to 5 years of product management, product development, internet and/or related experience.
This position is preferred to be located in NYC, but could be located in Cincinnati, OH or Iola, WI.
