JOB DESCRIPTION: Analyzes, codes/configures, and tests applications.

Assists in developing applications specifications and in providing support for customer applications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of information technology experience OR a bachelor's degree. Positions in this classification may require a knowledge of one or more programming languages and/or a knowledge of an application and application tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to design, create, test, document, and support web-based, database enabled applications. Candidates should also have experience designing and creating custom database queries and reports as well as developing and maintaining data transmissions to/from disparate systems. At least two years of experience using the following software and technologies is required: Macromedia Dreamweaver (MX 2004 and up), PHP, MySQL, HTML, XML, and CSS. Candidates should also possess good communications skills and be able to work with partner and vendor personnel to develop and maintain data transmissions. Experience with FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL server, and/or Oracle would also be a plus.
